You’ve RED That Right—The Hotbox by Dani Offers The Best Red Velvet Crinkles I’ve Ever Had!

Perks of adulting include hoarding as much snacks as you want. That’s why I’ve got a constant stash of sweet and savory goodies that I can indulge in while working, watching my kdramas, or even while I’m on the phone.

Said treats occasionally vary—from store-bought chips to ayuda from friends, or even freshly-baked cookies from small businesses. One example of the latter include these goodies from The Hotbox by Dani, an online startup business that emerged during the quarantine.

Team Cookie or Team Crinkle

Now, I’m normally more of a cookie person, but that doesn’t mean I’ll ignore a crinkle. In fact, I was looking for something sweet to eat while catching up on my K-dramas and it was just so timely that I got these goodies from The Hotbox.

Red Velvet Crinkle Sandwiches

Made in cute bite-sized portions for easy snacking, these crinkles are light and very soft—unlike most dense and heavy crinkles out there. Plus they’ve got a soft and chewy consistency—borderline stretchy, even—which I love in a cookie.

But that’s not all. These crinkles come with a sour-sweet cream cheese in the middle for that tart but creamy addition. It has a subtle cheesy taste—one that isn’t overpowered by the usual sugary sweetness. And take note: the texture of these crinkles remain the same even when refrigerated. Amazing!

Chocolate Chunk Cookies

As for the Chocolate Chip Cookies, although fully loaded with chocolate chunks, they’re more on the crumbly side when refrigerated. Nothing a little trip to the microwave can’t fix though.

When fresh and hot, the chocolate becomes gooey and the cookie itself is nice, warm, and chewy. And whether you like them cold or hot, anything goes with these yummy chocolate chunk-loaded bites.

And depending on your preference, both of these earn a thumbs up from me. But the crinkles? Those hold a special place in my heart.
