That Bread DOUGH: F Bakes MNL Offers Pull-apart Brioche… Filled with Chicken ala King!

Ever since I’ve gone back to having a full-time job, I’ve adjusted my body clock so that I sleep early and wake up early. And no day is complete without coffee and of course, a filling breakfast.

Team Chicken ala King or Team Cinnamon Raisin

Today, I’m treated to not just one, but two delicious breads from F Bakes MNL. They’ve got a savory, fully-loaded Chicken ala King Brioche—the first of its kind—along with a sweet loaf of Cinnamon Raisin bread to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Chicken ala King Brioche

Modeled after the trendy Korean pull-apart bread, this bread features the same round brioche (complete with nearly-there slices for easy pulling), same buttery softness, and the same garlicky taste… but with a twist.

In it, you’ll find a creamy filling of shredded chicken, cream, a touch of finely-chopped bell peppers—basically all the goodness of Chicken ala King. These concentrated flavors of savory, garlicky meat are so lavishly poured in every crevice of this bread—down to the center—which guarantees chicken in every bite. Yum!

Cinnamon Raisin Loaf

A cross between a cinnamon roll and raisin bread, this sweet confectionery features swirls of cinnamon and raisin in a soft loaf. Take a bite and you will be treated to soft (but slightly dense) bread, coupled with occasional bits of sugary sweetness from the raisins and the woodsy aroma of cinnamon.

Would have loved to taste more raisins though in the swirl, but that’s just my opinion as both raisin-lover and sweet tooth. If you like your bread simple and not too sweet, this one’s for you!

For orders and inquiries, you can contact F Bakes MNL over on Facebook or Instagram. Their breads are freshly baked daily, but you will need to allot a 1 to 2-day lead time for them to make your orders.

The Chicken ala King Brioche is priced at ₱150 per piecefor the personal size and ₱300 per piece for the full size. Aside from these breads, F Bakes MNL also offers Baked Pasta, Cinnamon Rolls, and Cheese Rolls.
